Resolution solutions

So Christmas Day is over and the leftovers are almost finished, chocolate mountains are being diligently worked through and the drinks are going down.

We might be feeling uncomfortable, sluggish, and even a bit guilty for our overindulgence, after all, shouldn’t we know better by now? It is just way too easy to get caught up in it, to reach for another sausage roll, another chocolate out of the box, or another Baileys on ice. After all, New Year is just around the corner so we can start afresh then!

You won’t be surprised to hear that some of the most searched topics on Google in the New Year are based around health, how to lose weight, get fit, stop smoking, etc. The problem is, they were the same topics we were searching for last year and the year before that. It has become a bit of a groundhog day.

We have challenges like #DryJanuary and #Veganuary dangling their carrots at us (excuse the pun!) Gyms offer new-year discounts and new diet adverts appear at every turn, so with a bucket load of resolve, we set out to change a whole host of bad habits.

We are all guns blazing for a week, two if we’re lucky. But then by about mid-January, we end up back at square one, back to our comfortable lives, we are happy there, or so we tell ourselves.

There were just too many changes, too much friction, too much effort needed to change. It is a given that this is not sustainable so instead of choosing just one thing we give up completely.

This is where I come in with #FeedingGood Habits, a book with a new approach to health, and a much better way to start the new year. It offers a different look at our health, our hunger, our cravings, and our relationship with food and ourselves.

If you want real results so you don’t have to Google health again next year, buy the book and get started now.
