Hi there and Happy New Year from ‘Your Healthy Self’
I have decided to go right back to the beginning and re-introduce myself, explain what I do and where I am going and see if I can help any of you on your path to a healthier you in 2017
End of a Cycle
2016 was a funny year, according to Numerologists it was the end of a 9 year cycle (2+0+1+6 =9) and many people seem glad to see the back of it, It has certainly been an interesting ride for me but I have learnt a lot about myself, my business and life in general, which is always a good thing, although that said, I am totally ready to embrace the start of a new cycle 2017 (2+0+1+7 =10. 1+0=1)
A Potted History
Towards the end of 2013 I finally worked out what I wanted to do with my life so I set up my website www.yourhealthyself.co.uk and wrote my first ever blog on DIY colonics using Linseeds! Come to think of it I haven’t done this great intestinal cleanse for ages, it’s funny how things just drop off the radar, maybe it’s time for a re-visit, after all it’s the perfect time of year for a clear out! (Details at the end if you’re interested, it’s not as bad as it sounds!)
Since then my blog has covered many, many subjects, especially after completing an intense Naturopathic Nutrition Course. I have literally been bubbling over with ideas and just want to help everyone get healthy, although not everyone is ready so I have also had to learn to zip it on many occasions!
The Year Ahead
This year I will be running some Healthy Eating Courses, I will be releasing a number of eBooks on specific health Issues and how to treat them naturally, (starting with Arthritis which is designed and ready to go.) I will also be looking at helping people save money by embracing their leftovers, gluts, BOGOFs etc., one piece of fruit or vegetable at a time! There is so much to come and more.
Reaching a Milestone
Lastly, this is a big year for me, I will be turning 50 in June, shock horror! I can’t believe I am going to be half a century old but I am embracing it and last year set myself a challenge ‘50 things to do before I’m 50.’ There’s a mixture of personal, educational and business things on there, things with the kids, things on my own, things with friends, things I have wanted to do for ages and things that have come up recently. It has really focused my mind and I am absolutely loving working through the list. Why don’t you try it? It doesn’t have to be a big birthday goal, 42 things to do before you’re 42 is just as much fun!

Place 1 tbsp linseeds in a small glass and top up with water, leave overnight and in the morning, first thing drink the whole lot down, the Linseeds should have swollen a little and will work their way slowly through your system giving it a good clean. Don’t worry nothing drastic will happen! Do this once a week, you will love it.
